Obverse
On the front side of the coins in the central part, an emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan is depicted on an ornamental background. In the lower part there is a number "500" and the inscription "ТЕҢГЕ", denoting the face value of the coin. In the left and right sectors, the elements of the national ornament are mirrored. On the circumference there is an inscription "ҚАЗАҚСТАН РЕСПУБЛИКАСЫ" in the state language and "РЕСПУБЛИКА КАЗАХСТАН" in Russian. (500 Tenge

Reverse
On the reverse side of the coins there is an episode of the national rite shashu and the trademark of the Kazakh Mint.
