100 Tenge from Kazakhstan. Issued in 1999. Struck in Silver (.925). Measures 37 mm and weighs 24 g.

Obverse
On the obverse (obverse) of the coin in the upper part of the polished circle is the image of the emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan framed by a five-fold turned ornamental eight-pointed rosette. In the lower part of the circle the number "100" denotes the denomination of the coin. On the circumference of the coin there is a prominent wide edge, on which there is an inscription "ҚАЗАҚСТАН ҰЛТТЫК БАНКI" in the Kazakh language. In the lower part - the word "ТЕҢГЕ", to the left of it the number "1999" denoting the year of coinage, on the right - the inscription "Ag 925" denoting the metal from which the coin and its sample are made. The inscriptions on the kant are depressed. (100

Reverse
On the reverse side (reverse) of the coin against the background of the planes inclined toward the center of the coin, symbolizing the meeting of the two millennia, the stories from the history of the past and the signs of the future millennium are depicted in relief. On the circumference of the coin there is a prominent wide edge, on which there is an inscription "FАСЫРЛАР БЕЛЕСI" in Kazakh and "РУБЕЖ ТЫСЯЧЕЛЕТИЙ" in Russian, separated by a fragment of the Kazakh national ornament.
