500 Tenge from Kazakhstan. Issued in 2000. Struck in Gold (.999). Measures 21.87 mm and weighs 7.78 g.
- Obverse
- On the obverse (obverse) of the coin in the center is the inscription "500 ТЕҢГЕ" located in two lines and denoting the face value of the coin. In the lower segment of the coin, bounded from above by a border of national ornament and the emblem of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, is the date "2000" denoting the year of coinage. To the left of it is the inscription "Au 999" indicating the metal sample, to the right - the trademark of the Kazakhstan Mint. The inscription "ҚАЗАҚСТАН YЛТТЫК БАНКI" is on the circumference of the coin (500 tenge 2000 Au 99 National Bank of Kazakhstan)
- Reverse
- On the reverse side of the coin in the central part is the image of the southern portal of the mausoleum of Khawaja Ahmad Yasawi, under it is a bead border and the inscription "1500 ЖЫЛ ТҮРКIСТАН" located in three lines, leaving in perspective and symbolizing the way to the temple.
