Obverse

On the obverse (obverse) of the coin in the center is the inscription "500 ТЕҢГЕ" located in two lines and denoting the face value of the coin. In the lower segment of the coin, bounded from above by a border of national ornament and the emblem of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, is the date "2000" denoting the year of coinage.
