1000 Tenge from Kazakhstan. Issued in 2001. Struck in Gold (.999). Measures 21.87 mm and weighs 7.78 g.

Obverse

On the front side of the coin in the central part on the mirror surface is depicted an element of the headdress - the protoma of the winged horses with the horns of the mountain goat making up the headhole emblem of the kulah-khood. In the lower part, the inscription "1000 ТЕҢГЕ" is located in two lines and denotes the denomination of the coin, under the nominal value the number "2001" denoting the year of coinage with two points along the edges. On the circumference there is an inscription "ҚАЗАҚСТАН РЕСПУБЛИКАСЫ" in the state language and "REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN" in English. Reverse

On the reverse side of the coin on the polished surface is a model of the "Golden Man" and some of his gold ornaments. In the left part there are enlarged images of the pads, which are the main decoration of the caftan and boots. In the right part - the image of the overlays in the form of a leopard located along the circumference. In the upper part of the coin is the trademark of the Kazakhstan Mint, the inscription "АЛТЫН АДАМ" in the official language located in two lines, the inscription "GOLDEN MAN" in English located in three lines and "7.78 gr." denoting the mass of the coin.
