Obverse
In the central part of the obverse there is an image of the emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the number "100" located under it and the inscription "TENGE" denoting the denomination of the coin. On the circumference, the protruding edge and the inscription "REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN" in English and the inscription "1/25 oz Au 999" denoting the metal from which the coin is made, its sample and mass, and the number "2004" denoting the year of coinage. The inscriptions and the number are separated by dots.
Reverse
On the reverse side (reverse) of the coin in the center is the image of the trade caravan and the mausoleum of Khawaja Ahmad Yasawi. In the upper sector there is an inscription "ANCIENT TURKESTAN" in English. Circumferential edge.
