Obverse
On the obverse side of the coins in the center is depicted a composition symbolizing the entrance to the Islamic shrines, consisting of images of a stylized arch and heraldic spiral. Below is the nominal value of the coin "500 TENGE". To the right of the figures of the denomination is an inscription indicating the metal sample from which the Au 999 coin is made. The inscription "NATIONAL BANK OF KAZAKHSTAN" in English, the logo of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the inscription "• 2006 •" indicating the year of coinage and the trademark Kazakhstan Mint
Reverse
On the back of the coin in the center there is an image of the mosque "AL Haram". In the upper sector there is an inscription "AL HARAM" on the circumference, in the lower part - "MECCA" in English.
