Description
5000 Tenge from Kazakhstan. Issued in 2008. Struck in Silver (.925). Measures 100 mm and weighs 1000 g.
- Obverse
- On the front side of the coin, in the upper part of the coin there is a coat of arms of the Republic of Kazakhstan framed by a five-fold turned ornamental eight-pointed rosette and the inscription "ҚАЗАҚСТАН ҰЛТТЫҚ БАНКІ" in the state language. In the lower part, the inscription "5000 ТЕҢГЕ" denoting the face value of the coin. To the left of the denomination is the trademark of the Kazakhstan Mint and the inscription "1 kg" denoting the mass of the coin, to the right - the inscription "Ag 925" denoting the metal from which the coin and its sample are made. - Reverse
- On the reverse side of the coin there is a collage of iconic buildings of the capital Astana. In the left upper quadrant of the coin the inscription "АСТАНА 10 ЖЫЛ" in the state language, in the right - the coat of arms of the capital, under the sign of which passed the ten-year formation of the city. In the left lower sector of the coin, the number "2008" denoting the year of coinage (Astana 10 years 2008)
