Obverse

On the front side of the coin in the central part is an image of the fragment of the ornament. In the upper part there is an inscription "50 ТЕҢГЕ" located in two lines and denoting the face value of the coin, in the lower part there is an inscription "Au 999" denoting the metal from which the coin and its sample are made. On the circumference there is the inscription "ҚАЗАҚСТАН ҰЛТТЫҚ БАНКІ" in the state language. (50 Tenge

Reverse

On the reverse side of the coin in the central part there is an image of a gold item from the Zhalaulinsky treasure in the form of a deer. In the right part, the number "2009" denoting the year of coinage, in the upper part - the heraldic image of the spiral. In the lower sector on the circumference there is the inscription "ZHALAULINSKIY TREASURE" in English.
