Description

1 Gros - Charlotte from Kingdom of Cyprus. Issued from 1458 to 1459. Struck in Silver. Measures 25 mm and weighs 3.96 g.

Obverse
Crowned shield divided in four parts with the Lusignan coat of arms. Around it a beaded ring, with the inscription on the edge, starting from the top and clockwise.
Reverse
Cross of jerusalem (large cross with a square in the centre, with smaller crosses in each quarter part), surrounded by a beaded ring. Another beaded ring on the rim, with the inscription between the rings.
