Description
1 Gros - Charlotte from Kingdom of Cyprus. Issued from 1458 to 1459. Struck in Silver. Measures 25 mm and weighs 3.96 g.
- Obverse
- Crowned shield divided in four parts with the Lusignan coat of arms. Around it a beaded ring, with the inscription on the edge, starting from the top and clockwise.
- Reverse
- Cross of jerusalem (large cross with a square in the centre, with smaller crosses in each quarter part), surrounded by a beaded ring. Another beaded ring on the rim, with the inscription between the rings.
