½ Gros - James I from Kingdom of Cyprus. Issued from 1382 to 1398. Struck in Silver. Measures 21 mm and weighs 2.3 g.
- Obverse
- The king sitting on a throne, holding a sceptre in right hand and a globus cruciger in his left. The inscription surrounds it, with a beaded ring on the rim.
- Reverse
- Cross of jerusalem (large cross with a square in the centre, with smaller crosses in each quarter part), surrounded by a beaded ring. Another beaded ring on the rim, with the inscription between the rings.
