AR Akçe from Artuqids of Mardin. Issued in 748. Struck in Silver. Measures 16 mm and weighs 1.2 g.
- Obverse
- Title of the sovereign written on three lines in a hexalobe inscribed in a circle. Inside the different lobes, the year of minting written in full and the name of the workshop; a ringlet outside each lobe, a globule between each. Presence of a grenetis.
- Reverse
- Beginning of the first kalima of Islam written on two lines in a circle composed of globules; the rest of the kalima then continues around the perimeter in each field of a quatrefoil inscribed in a circle.
