Drachm from Hephthalite Empire. Issued from 561 to 600. Struck in Billon. Measures 26 mm and weighs 3.17 g.
- Obverse
- Bust of the king on the right, wearing the 3rd crown of Peroz I, above two points; two wings on either side, a crescent surmounted by a globe and intersecting a crown of pearls on the whole. Four globules frame the composition, bacterial inscriptions in the field above the right wing and at 6 o'clock outside the circle.
- Reverse
- Represented in a stylized way, an altar of fire located between two servants; above a star in the left field and a crescent in the right field. Bacterial inscriptions at 4 o'clock and monogram at 8 o'clock.
