- Obverse
- Inscription containing the title and name of the Sultan around a circle and continuing inside this cartouche; another circle borders everything. (al-Sultan al-Malik al-Salih Salah ad-Din Haji:"The sultan, the virtuous ruler Saladin Haji [II]".)
- Reverse
- A fleur-de-lys surrounded by four points and a circle; around a legend indicating the name of the workshop and the date in full. (Duriba bi dimashq sanat thelath wa themanin wa seb 'mi'at:"Struck in Damascus, in the year seven hundred and eighty-three".)
