- Crowned quartered coat of arms of Sweden (Three crowns of Sweden in first and fourth quadrant; Folkungs Lion in second and third) with central Vasa Arms partially within a circle. Legend outside divided at bottom by the shield (Erik XIV Dei Gratia King of Sweden, of the Wends and the Goths)
- Reverse
- Archipelago landscape in roaring sea, with a city near shoreline; in the sky a scepter is coming down from sunrays above clouds. This scene is within an ornate circle, with King's motto outside and date at end. (God gives to whom He wishes)
