- Obverse
- Facing head of Guglielmo Marconi, inventor of the radio. Below a five-pointed star and the name of the engraver. (Italian Republic Monassi)
- Reverse
- Radio transmitter antenna invented by Marconi with in the high vertex a representation of a radio wave. On the right the dates of the anniversary on two lines, while on the left indication of the value (L. 100) and mint mark (R) always on two lines. The word "Prova" with indication of silver and finess is added above the value.
