Drachm with the curly head from Sotiates. Issued from -121 to -52. Struck in Silver. Measures 15 mm and weighs 2.98 g.
- Obverse
- Head to the left, with for hair a single curvilinear row of interlaced S, the first of which forms the forehead and the last ends in a loop on the neck; below the eyebrow, eye made of a point on an arc of a circle; straight nose rounded at the end; two-point lips; pointed chin; pointing ear; fairly long neck ending in a raised horizontal line.
- Reverse
- Ball-shaped cross in the center, formed of four angles: an S in the 1st canton, an annulet surmounted by a lunula in the 2nd, a pellet adorned with a lunula in the 3rd and a pointed ring connected to a point above and another to the below to the 4th quarter.
