Aspron Trachy from Byzantine Empire. Issued from 1118 to 1143. Struck in Electrum. Measures 29.5 mm and weighs 3.58 g.

- IC-IX to left and right of bust of Christ facing, with crossed nimbus, wearing pallium and colobium, holding book of gospels and raising right hand.

- John II Comnenus crowned and wearing divitision and chlamys on left, St. George nimbate in military dress and holding sword on right, both standing facing, holding patriarchal cross between them.
