- Face value in Hebrew and English, 1 New Sheqel on the silver B.U. coin against a background of ears of grain, above right, the Israel State Emblem, around the border, inscription "Fiftieth Anniversary FAO" appears in Hebrew and English, "ISRAEL' in Hebrew, Arabic and English and the mint year 1995 / 5755.
- Reverse
- Emblem of the Food and Agriculture Organization, beneath it, the years "1945-1995", inscription "Deal thy bread to the hungry" and reference (Isaiah 58:7) in Hebrew and English.
