Obverse
Crowned ornate shield with Greater Arms of Sweden: three crowns of Sweden in first and fourth quadrant, Folkung's Lion in second and third, smaller shield with Vasa Arms in center; partially within a circle with legend outside. (Gustav (II) Adolf, by the Grace of God, King of Sweden, of the Goths and the Wends and Grand Duke of Finland)
Reverse
Griffin with wings spread walking left within circle. Legend outside the circle with date in roman numbers at end, together with a little crown. Value is on either side of the griffin. (New copper coin of Nyköping)
