- Within a six-pointed star inscribed in a circle, the title of the Abbasid caliph followed by the title of the suzerain, the Ayyubid sultan of Egypt; between each branch, the kalima.
- Reverse
- Inside a six-pointed star inscribed in a circle, the title of the sovereign; between each branch an inscription composed of the name of the workshop followed by the year of issue in all letters.
