- Obverse
- Left facing bust of Charles I, bust begins at the edge of the coin, mark of value to the right, 'B' and fleur-de-lis at the end of the legend. (Charles, by the Grace of God, King of Great Britain, France and Ireland)
- Reverse
- Crowned royal arms, crowned 'C' to the left and crowned 'R' to the right. (What God hath joined together, let no man put asunder)
