2 Euros from San Marino. Issued in 2019. Struck in Bimetallic: nickel brass clad nickel centre in copper-nickel ring. Measures 25.75 mm and weighs 8.5 g.

Obverse

The centre of the coin depicts an angel painted by Leonardo da Vinci in ‘The Baptism of Christ’; at the edge, on the left is the inscription ‘SAN MARINO’, on the right the inscription ‘1519 Leonardo 2019’; on the left are the initials of the artist Uliana Pernazza ‘UP’ and on the bottom right, the letter ‘R’ identifying the Mint of Rome The coin’s outer ring depicts the 12 stars of the European flag.

Reverse

A map, next to the face value, shows the European continent without borders.

Finely reeded with edge lettering: six times the sequence "2 *" or "* 2" alternately upright and inverted.
