- Two pilot profiles symbolizing different eras and types of use - civil and military. Numerous aircraft are depicted in the sky, also marking different eras and uses, a tribute to the history of the airplane. The face value is inscribed on the bottom left of the reverse, along with the "RF" symbol.

- A P-38 aircraft in full turn, rising from the clouds. In the background, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry dressed as a Free French Air Force pilot. The symbols of the Little Prince are scattered across the face of the coin.
