Johannis from Curaçao. Issued from 1793 to 1799. Struck in Gold (.917). Measures 21 mm and weighs 14.3 g.
- Obverse
- Host coin (1/2 Dobra of 1776) with portrait of Joseph I of Portugal facing right surrounded by text in Latin. Mint mark of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) on the portrait. Date of hostcoin below. Four countermarks at 3, 6, 9 and 12 o'clock very close to the edge (GI, L, MH and B) and one countermark on the field (GH).
