10 Euros - Coin of History from France. Issued in 2019. Struck in Billon (.333 silver). Measures 31 mm and weighs 17 g.
- Obverse
- The obverse of the coin shows its face value decorated with an oak branch and a laurel branch, evoking the Euro sign. The motifs on the reverse side are framed with a set of lines representing France's hexagonal shape.
- Reverse
- The Vercingetorix coin shows a stater. The staters were antique coins, which circulated from Greece to Gaul. There were the first coins to be subject to counterfeiting. The Vercingetorix face which is visible in some of the coins is probably inspired by Apollon.
