- 6th crowned portrait of HM Queen Elizabeth II facing right, wearing the George IV State Diadem and the Victorian Coronation Necklace
- Reverse
- The St Edward’s crown, a laurel wreath and the word ‘AUSTRALIA’, historic elements of Royal Mint engraver Leonard Charles Wyon’s original Type I reverse. The design also includes the inscriptions ‘PERTH MINT’ and ‘DOUBLE SOVEREIGN’. In celebration of the 200th anniversary of Queen Victoria’s birth in 2019, the coin bears the encircled number ‘200’.
