Obverse

The waxing crescent moon and five-pointed star facing North West in rising position is in the center. The periphery on the top of the crescent star is inscribed in the wording "ISLAMI JAMHORIA PAKISTAN", "اسلامہ جمہوریہ پاکستان" in Urdu script. Below the crescent and at the top of two springs of wheat with arms curved upward, there is the year of issuance 2019. The face value of the coin in numeral “550” in bold letters and "RUPIA", "روپیہ" in Urdu script are written on the right and left sides of the crescent star respectively. Reverse

"550th Birthday Celebrations" written at the top in three lines. Gurdwara Janam Asthan (also known as Gurdwara Nankana Sahib is a shrine located in the city of Nankana Sahib, near the city of Lahore in the Punjab province of Pakistan) in the center. "SRI GURU NANAK DEV JI 1469-2019" written at the bottom three lines.
