Description
250 Francs from Luxembourg. Issued in 1963. Struck in Copper. Measures 37.58 mm and weighs 22.58 g.
- Obverse
- A diademed portrait of Grand Duchess Charlotte on the right, with a royal crown on the nape of her neck, the engravers' signature below the portrait's bowl and the word ESSAI near her chin. Surrounded by commemorative dates and a double legend in contemporary script.
- Reverse
- In the center an aerial view of the castle on the rock of the "Bock" as well as of the city with its enclosure, surmounted by the inscription LVCILINBVRHVC on a phylactery, facial value in exergue.
