Obverse
Obverse represents the different types of military operations that took place on June 6th, 1944 surrounding the mention DDAY (written bearing the American, British, Free French and Canadian flag) 75th. In the foreground, a Spitfire is flying over the whole obverse symbolically bearing the Polish and Norwegian cockades, he is accompanied by Dakotas. The coin is dotted with paratroopers and other small planes symbolizing airborne operations. In the center, naval forces are represented by HNoMS Svenner, Norwegian Destroyer.
Reverse
