- Obverse
- Head of King Frederik VII facing right. Below the date with mintmarks at sides. (Frederik VII, King of Denmark, of the Wends and the Goths)
- Reverse
- Greater shield with Arms of Denmark and its territories within a crowned open ermine mantle. Around the shield is the collar of the Order of the Elephant while behind there are a crossed sword and scepter. Value around rim.
