Pseudo-imperial Solidus in the name of Anastasius from Frankish Kingdom. Issued from 491 to 511. Struck in Gold. Measures 21 mm and weighs 4.4 g.

Pearl-diademed, helmeted, and cuirassed bust facing slightly right, holding spear over shoulder in right hand and shield decorated with horseman motif in left. (Our lord Anastasius, perpetual august.)

Victory standing left, holding long jeweled cross; star to right. (Victory of the August.)
