2 Centimes from France. Issued in 1883. Struck in Nickel silver. Measures 20 mm and weighs 2.5 g.
- Obverse
- Head of the Republic on the left as Ceres, goddess of the harvest, wearing a pearl necklace, a double chignon and a composite crown of wheat, flowers, olives, oaks and acorns, tied with a ribbon that descends over the neck and passes over the forehead where it bears an indistinct inscription, all within a grenetis.
- Reverse
- In two lines in the field, above the studio letter A framed by the various; all in a grenetis pattern.
