Description

500 Tenge from Kazakhstan. Issued from 2009 to 2010. Struck in Gold (.9999) (3 diamonds). Measures 25 mm and weighs 7.78 g.

Obverse
On the front side of the coin in the lower part there is a coat of arms of the Republic of Kazakhstan framed by a stylized image of the stadium, the inscription "Au 999 7,78g" denoting the metal from which the coin was made, its sample and mass, and the number "2009" denoting the year of coinage. In the upper part there is the inscription "500 TENGE" denoting the denomination of the coin and the logo of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan. On the perimeter of the coin there is a wide, frosted edging, on which is located the circumferential inscription "REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN" in English.
Reverse
On the reverse side of the coin in the central part of the image of three biathletes at different moments of the competition. At the top of the image are five targets, three of which are made with diamond inserts. On the right side, the number "2010" denoting the year of the Olympic Games, at the bottom - the inscription "OLYMPIC GAMES" in English
