Obverse
Face value in Hebrew and English, "1 New Sheqel" on the silver B.U. coin; "2 New Sheqalim" on the silver proof coin; "5 New Sheqalim" on the 22 mm. gold coin and 10 New Sheqalim on the 30 mm. gold coin. Above the face value is the State emblem. In the lower portion, along the circumference appears the year of issue, 1994 5754 and the word "ISRAEL' in Hebrew, Arabic and English.
Reverse
The Earth as the center of a flower surrounded by petals, symbolizing the fragility of the environment and the need to protect it. In the upper portion, along the circumference, "FOR A BETTER ENVIRONMENT" appears in Hebrew and English.
