- Head of King Vittorio Emanuele III facing right. Engraver’s name below the neck-cut, along the coin rim. (VITTORIO EMANUELE III KING AND EMPEROR(OF ITALY))
- Reverse
- Upper part of a Roman Imperial Insignia: an eagle perched on a bar with slightly outstretched wings with two big medallion below. In the first is the Savoy Shield, while in the lower one there is a Fasces. The last medallion also divides value at sides, more at left is the date and the mintmark, while at right the year in the Fascist Era. The word "PROVA" is in the field at left of Insigna.
