20 Ducats from City of Zürich. Issued in 1712. Struck in Gold. Measures 50 mm and weighs 69.34 g.
- Obverse
- Rampant lion facing right, raising sword in right arm and holding oval shield with the coat of arms of Zürich in its left arm. Standing bear facing left, raising sword in its right arm and holding oval shield with the coat of arms of Bern in its left arm. Above, radiant sun. (We fight under this duke.)
- Reverse
- The six flags of the cities that were conquered by the Zurich and Bernese troops in the Second Villmerger War in Toggenburg: Kaiserstuhl, Bremgarten, Wil, Baden, Mellingen and Klingnau. Below, suit of armor, shield, cannon, cannonballs, weapons and war trophie. (Lions and bears grow together in glory and splendor.)
