Obverse
In the foreground on the right, the Chureito pagoda (in Fujiyoshida) from which we can enjoy a breathtaking view of Mount Fuji, especially during the cherry blossom season. A cherry blossom branch crosses the upper part of the coin. In the center, a torii in the water (reminiscent of the one at Miyajima), a gate leading to a temple, through which you can see, in the background, Mount Fuji and its reflection in a lake. At the top, there's also a sun, the symbol of Japan.
Reverse
A terrestrial globe with on the right part, the engraving of the names of the sites classified with the world heritage of UNESCO. On the left side, the logo of UNESCO and in the globe, the face value. The reverse is common to the series.
