- Head of King Vittorio Emanuele III facing left with the name of the engraver below the neck (Vittorio Emanuele III King and Emperor (of Italy) G. Romagnoli)
- Reverse
- Eagle perched on a branch, with outstretched wings and head right. Below the eagle is a faces in vertical position with an axe at right. Below the Savoy Shield divides the value, with the date and mintmark to the left, and the date of the Fascist Era to the right. The word "PROVA" is added on the left, near the date, along the rim.
