Description
25 Banica from Croatia. Issued in 1941. Struck in Brass. Measures 17 mm and weighs 2.2 g.
- Obverse
- In the central part of the coin, there is a stem of tobacco with four leaves and flowers at the top. Letter I is written on the left side, while letter K is written on the right side, standing as the initials of Ivo Kerdić. Underneath the year of minting (1941) is written. Alongside the edge, NEZ (abbreviation of NEZAVISNA) DRŽ (abbreviation of DRŽAVA) HRVATSKA is written. There is another flower at the bottom of the coin. (The Independent State of Croatia IK 1941)
- Reverse
- The face value (25) of the coin is in the central part, surrounded by a circle made of dots. Letter U (with ignited bomb inside) is placed at the top of the coin, while BANICA is written at the bottom. There are three leaves of tobacco on both, the right and the left side of a coin. (25 Banica)
