1 Tael - Daoguang from Taiwan Province. Issued from 1837 to 1845. Struck in Silver (.999). Measures 39 mm and weighs 26.01 g.
- Obverse
- God of Longevity holding staff with four Chinese ideograms on his chest and more on either side. (Cast during Daoguang / Pure silver coin Kuping/ 7 (Mace) 2 (Candareens) Official Mint)
- Reverse
- Three-legged sacrificial vase surrounded by various circles and dots, all with four Manchu words around read top to bottom, right to left, and with three tiny Chinese ideograms on the reverse (meaning uncertain; possibly a date). (Taiwan / Kiagi Ku (Chiayi treasury))

- Meandering Greek design.
