5 Pesos from Cuba. Issued in 1987. Struck in Gold (.100). Measures 30 mm and weighs 12 g.
- Obverse
- Cuban coat of arms, country name on top, face value below, weight and fineness on sides. Circle of pearls near to edge. Design is the same as on KM# 166 (see link below) (Republic of Cuba 12g. 5 Pesos silver 0.999)
- Reverse
- Portrait of Leonor Molina representing the Republic, first face to appear on a Cuban coin. Motto on curved legend at top, "emisión original" and commemorated date on left, mintmark and current issue date on right, "SOUVENIR" below. Line of pearls close to edge. Design is the same as on KM# 166 (see link below). (Fatherland and Liberty 1897 1987 original issue Souvenir)
