- Saint Leodegar facing left, sitting on a gothic throne, nimbate, wearing mitre and regalia. A soldier to the left, wearing sword, gouging the right eye of the saint with a drill. Tiled floor below. (Sanctus Leodigarius Patronus Lucernae. Saint Leodegar, patron of Lucerne.)

- Crowned coat of arms of the Holy Roman Empire depicting double headed eagle. Coat of arms of Lucerne below; left half hatched; right half plain. Two lions supporting the two coats of arms.
