Description
½ Crown from Gibraltar. Issued in 2021. Struck in Gold (.999) plated copper-nickel. Measures 32 mm and weighs 14.14 g.
- Obverse
- Right facing head of Queen Elizabeth II, wearing the George IV State Diadem
- Reverse
- In the center, a celebratory image of the Queen and Prince Philip during the coronation in June 1953. The struck element of the reverse design with the Royal couples initials E & P on either side of the Royal coat of arms. The number 70 also appears entwined in a ribbon inscribed with the words 'strength' & 'stay'.
