- Bust of curly-haired herdsman, facing right, wearing hooded shirt, often mistakenly identified as William Tell. (Swiss Confederation. Engraved by Paul Burkhard.)
- Reverse
- Coat of arms of Switzerland on square shield. Edelweiss (Leontopodium nivale) spring to the left. Alpenrose (Rhododendron ferrugineum) spring to the right.
