- Saint Leodegar facing right, sitting on a gothic throne, nimbate, wearing mitre and regalia. A soldier to his right, gouging the eyes of the saint with a drill, wearing sword. (Moneta nova Lucernensis. New coin of Lucerne.)

- Crowned coat of arms of the Holy Roman Empire depicting double headed eagle. Coat of arms of Lucerne below; left field hatched; right field plain. Two lions supporting the two coats of arms.
