The names of the 12 Shi'a imams inside squares, the kalima around the edge. Most of this is not visible on these coins, and what is visible is often crude. Reverse

Most of the text is not present, and what is there is crude. (The just sultan, the perfect, the rightly-guided, the chosen, the father of victory, Shah Isma’il the Brave Khan, the Safavid, the Husayni, may God almighty perpetuate his reign and his sultanate.)
