½ Testoon from Scotland. Issued from 1558 to 1559. Struck in Silver (.916). Measures 24 mm and weighs 3.05 g.
- Obverse
- Crowned arms of Mary I as Queen of Scots and Dauphine of France, at the centre of a cross potent. (Francis and Mary, by the grace of God, King and Queen of Scotland, Dauphin and Dauphiness of Viennois)
- Reverse
- Crowned 'FM' monogram, flanked on each side by a cross of Lorraine. (He has made both one)
