- Coat of arms of Lucerne on crowned and helmeted ornate cartouche with scrollwork around. (Bero Comes de Lensburg fundavit Ecclesiae Beronensis. Count Bero of Lensburg founded the Church of Bero.)
- Reverse
- Archangel Michael advancing left, raising flame sword in right arm, holding shield in left hand, wearing feathered helmet and plate armour. Defeated devil crouching on the ground below, breathing smoke, with flames behind. (Collegium Beronense suis benevolis dono dedit. The Beronese College gave its gift willingly.)
