2 Groschen "Thuyne" - William IV of Bavaria from County of Hainaut. Issued from 1404 to 1417. Struck in Silver. Measures 29 mm and weighs 3 g.
- Obverse
- In a garden/enclosure, seated lion facing left, holding shield of Bavaria-Hainaut. (Duke William, by God's grace Count of Hainaut, Holland and Zeeland.)
- Reverse
- Long cross pattee intersecting legend, over a smaller quadrilobe decorated with fleur-de-lis, trefoils in the exterior angles. (New coinage made in Valenciennes.)
