- Inside a polylobe, a quartered lozenge with emblems of Bavaria and Hainaut. Legend begins with trefoil (Duke Albert, by God's grace Count of Hainaut)
- Reverse
- Floriate cross with H monogram in quadrilobe at center, and alternating lions and eagles in angles of the cross. (New coinage made in Valenciennes)
